How to Measure Your Pool

Accurate measurements ensure your cover fits correctly. Daisy automatically supplies covers 300mm longer and 150mm wider than your measurements — this extra is trimmed to shape on-site.

Golden rule: Always measure the longest length and widest width of your pool at water level, including any ledges or steps that the cover needs to span.
WidthLength

Rectangle

Measure straight length × width at water level.

Care & Maintenance Tips

A little maintenance goes a long way. Follow these tips to maximise the life of your cover.

Balance Your Water

Keep pH between 7.2–7.6 and chlorine at 1–3 ppm. Out-of-balance water is the #1 cause of premature cover deterioration.

Rinse After Removal

When you take the cover off for swimming, give it a quick rinse with the garden hose to wash off any chemical residue.

Store Out of UV

When not in use for extended periods, store the cover rolled up and cover it with the roller wrap to protect from UV degradation.

Check Roller Hardware

Inspect roller axle, straps, and fittings every 6 months. Tighten any loose connections and rinse off salt or calcium build-up.

Choosing the Right Roller

A roller makes using your pool cover effortless — roll it on and off in under 30 seconds. Here's what to consider when choosing one.

Standard Deck Roller

Standard Deck Roller

Sits alongside the pool on the deck. The most common and affordable option. Available in multiple colours to match your outdoor area.

Ideal for: Most pools with open deck space on one end.

Tip: When choosing a roller, consider your pool width — rollers must be wider than the pool. Check with us if you have a non-standard pool shape.

Why Every Pool Needs a Cover

A pool cover is one of the best investments you can make for your pool. Here's how it pays for itself.

Up to 98%

Less Evaporation

A covered pool loses far less water, saving thousands of litres per year and reducing your water bill.

Up to 8°C

Warmer Water

Solar covers heat your pool using free energy from the sun — no electricity required.

35–50%

Chemical Savings

Less evaporation means fewer chemicals drift away. Covered pools use significantly less chlorine and stabiliser.

80%

Less Debris

Keep leaves, insects, and dirt out of your pool — meaning less vacuuming and a cleaner swim every time.
