How much does a pool cover cost in Perth?
Real prices for 2026, worked out for common pool sizes
Plenty of pool shops won't give you a price until someone has rung you back or been out to measure. Here are ours, straight from the Daisy 2026-27 price list. A solar cover is priced by area: multiply your pool's length by its width and then by the rate for the grade you want. That's exactly how the price is worked out in our shop.

Prices are for the cover only, using the pool's length and width. Daisy cuts each cover a little larger than your measurements so it can be trimmed to the exact edge.
Which grade is cheapest in the long run?
Divide the price by the warranty and the picture changes. On an 8 x 4m pool, the 250B costs $462.40 with a 3-year warranty, about $154.13 a year. The 525 costs $838.40 with a 10-year warranty, about $83.84 a year. If you're staying put, the top grade is the cheapest cover per year. If you might sell in a couple of years, the 250B makes more sense.
Roller prices
A roller makes the cover a 30-second job to take on and off, which is what keeps it in use. Daisy's range starts with the Buddy 50 at $320 for small pools. The A75, the most popular 5-star roller, is $649 for pools up to 4.6m wide. The ST for bigger pools is $777, and the push-button Daisy Power ST starts at $1,807 (or $1,373.80 to motorise a Daisy roller you already own). If you want the roller out of sight, the Under Bench Roller starts at $1,815.
Installation prices
Fitting a cover yourself is a genuine DIY job on most rectangular pools. If you'd rather we did it, installation of a cover or a roller is $153, or $266 for a cover and roller together. You can add it at checkout. We deliver and install north of the river, from Stirling up to Two Rocks and Gingin.
A typical package
For an 8 x 4m pool, a 400B cover ($678.40), an A75 roller ($649.00) and cover-and-roller installation ($266.00) comes to $1,593.40. Fit it yourself and it's $1,327.40. You can pay by card, or spread it with Afterpay, Zip or Klarna.
Is it worth it?
An uncovered Perth pool loses roughly 8mm of water a day over summer. On an 8 x 4m pool that's more than 47,000 litres between October and March, and every top-up dilutes your chemicals.
