About the Acoustic Box – Soundproof Pump & Filter Enclosure
The Acoustic Box is a Colorbond steel enclosure for your pool pump and filter, lined with acoustic insulation to cut pump noise. It has a gas-strut lid, a removable front panel and child safety features, and is Australian made and designed.
Prices start at $2,168 and depend on size. Configure width, depth and height on this page; free standing, backless and deep backless styles are the same price.
On the smaller blocks in newer northern-suburbs estates, the pump often sits a metre or two from the neighbour's bedroom window. An enclosure is the simplest fix for a noise complaint.
