About the Daisy ThermoTech TTS Foam Cover — Silver (4.5mm)
ThermoTech Silver is Daisy's 4.5mm insulated foam pool cover, at $43.60 per square metre with an 8-year pro rata warranty.
The Silver finish has a reflective top surface. On an 8 x 4m pool the cover comes to $1,395.20.
Perth nights cool off quickly, even in summer, and an uncovered heated pool loses much of what the heater put in overnight. An insulated cover keeps that heat in the water.
Common questions
How is ThermoTech different from a bubble cover?+
A bubble cover lets sunlight through to heat the water. ThermoTech is a 4.5mm closed-cell foam that insulates instead, so it is mainly for keeping in heat you have already paid for with a heat pump or gas heater.
Is it heavy to handle?+
It is thicker and stiffer than a bubble cover, so on all but small pools it is best paired with a roller.
How do I work out my size?+
Measure the longest length and widest width of the water in metres and enter them on this page. The price updates as you type. Daisy cuts the cover at least 300mm longer and 150mm wider than the numbers you give, so it can be trimmed to the exact edge.
